- They will understand and react to 'yes' and 'no' spoken by the Hand (they get the same punishment/reward and drive changes as a tickle or slap, except no pain and wounding from 'no'). - They have parental instincts starting after birth to run to parents when afraid and stick by them more, and once adolescence kicks in, they will begin to get the instinct to leave their parents and stay away from them more (this won't start kicking in until they sleep after reaching adolescence). - They are affected by light levels, and will tend to get sleepy more quickly in darker areas. |

I'm assuming these norns don't have the bibbling genes suppressed? They're about 40m old in my world; plenty of kissing going on, Prometheus only seems to stop to say "prometheus dislike athena," which he does quite regularly! I don't know why, she only ever offers him good advice and never slaps him. But if she wanders off, he's all "prometheus approach norn", so I think hes just a bit high maintenance. They do keep doing the weird thing where they stand facing each other with their heads in the air - I thought that was normally confined to gizmos? They never seem to stay like that too long, though. ETA: Even when fully adult (now about an hour and a half old) I'm having great problems getting them to breed. I had to targ norn chem 161 1 just to get them to kisspop, but that's not resulting in pregnancy. Is it harder to get these to breed, or do they just have to be older? | |||||||||||
