These gadgets are the extension cord (top) and the beeper (bottom). They do virtually nothing by themselves. They hover in the air and are invisible to Creatures. You may ask, "What are they for then?" Well, they are, as the name says, extension cords. When you connect two agents via connection ports, you may have noticed that the cord snaps after a certain distance. Since the extension cord counts as an additional agent for the game, you have roughly twice as long wires you can use. In theory, you could use even more than one in a row in order to increase the range even more!

The beeper has the same purpose, just with the addition that it makes one of four selectable sounds while passing the signal. You can test the selected sound with the tiny red button at the bottom-right.
