I'm having real trouble with this cob, perhaps it clashes with Grendel Friendly or has a flaw? Hard to believe a Slink cob would be flawed

Yes, I used it fine (and the 48-creature world, though that gets crazy crowded) though I seem to remember I hex-edited the world file. But C1 worlds do get unstable over time, especially with a lot of cobs installed. Having a lot of unhatched eggs seems to make the problem worse. I'd only use this cob in a brand-new world, and backup the saves regularly.

I did finally get it to download and function but pretty much after 16ish norns the game starts crashing consistently. Not just the observation kit. Has anyone had luck with this working without crashing a bunch? And if so did you do anything specific?

No, the menu on Treesprite's page is confusing. When you go to the website from here (CreaturesCaves), it sends you to the right page at Treesprite's - just scroll down the destination page and the 24-creature patch is right at the bottom of the page. Clicking on that prompts to save a .cob file, so it looks like it's still working.

Not sure if this has stopped working, I keep getting a round-a-bout that when clicked it simply takes me back to same page rather than offering the content for use.
