Robotic Creatures Pack DS Sgeo | 5/31/2015 | 7 |
type | Living | author | Sgeo | updated | 5/31/2015 | version | 2 | The Robot Toy Norns are Norns that look like the robot toy, but otherwise behave much like normal Norns. They cannot walk, but they can eat, talk, and play with food, among other things.
The Badniks are creatures that are in an agent with the same classifier as the robot toy. In many ways they behave just like the robot toy, but have a brain and biochemistry. Creatures can state that they "like toy", but otherwise the badniks mostly sit around.
IMPORTANT: Inject the Crag Patch v2 before injecting Badniks and Robot Toy Norns, otherwise, your UI might break. |

it seems to be that this is a cruel thing. To entrap, however simpke, a thinking creature inside an automated body. please do not download this.

I was playing with the Robot Toy Norns and 4 of them flew off the screen. They were still alive and in the world. There was no error message. Exporting and importing them seemed to fix the issue. Edit: I did have the Crag Patch installed.

I think the badniks do qualify as geats, as they are family 2 genus 21, where norns, grendels, and ettins are family 4 genus 1, 2, and 3 respectively.

I don't even know if they occupy a slot, but I don't think they do, because they use the robot toy sprite.

They're norns stuck in the form of the robot toy (that is, they use the robot toy sprite). The badniks are basically the robot toy with a genome, while the robot toy norns can't walk but otherwise have normal nornish behavior.
So they aren't geats and don't occupy a breed slot.

...Are these technically geats? Do they occupy a slot?

Could you copy/paste the exact error message? Are you definitely using DS and not C3 standalone?

The Badniks crash my game when I inject them. Something about "default speak."
