type | Vehicle | author | GimmeCat | updated | 7/22/2017 | version | 1.3 | Designed as a helper for Wolfing Runs.
Place one or more "Hub" objects in areas that you want Norns to hang around, then place "Rescue Posts" in other parts of the world your Norns might wander into.
Norns activating a Rescue Post will be teleported to a random Hub. Hubs are invisible to Norns, but can be clicked by the Hand to teleport all Norns to its location.
Tested and proven to be effective in keeping Wolfing Runs alive, by guiding lost Norns back to sources of food and potential mates.
Inspired by "GOH Buttons" by Mr nStuff!
Update v1.3 [22nd July 2017]:
* New script numbers. No functional update, so it isn't necessary to re-download if you already have it.
Update v1.2 [4th July 2015]:
* Added a Boredom Decrease and Loneliness Decrease stimulous when a creature activates the Rescue Post. This will gradually teach creatures that interacting with 'button' objects will satisfy these drives.
* If you already use Rescue Posts from an older version in your world, simply replace the .cob file in your Objects directory, and then remove/re-add the Rescue Post objects to their desired locations. It is not necessary to do the same with the HUBs. |

Immensely useful, thanks!

It should work regardless of how many Norns you have, although I did occasionally encounter a crash when teleporting a larger population. Are you sure you're clicking a Hub, not a Rescue Post? Anyway, glad it's proving useful!

Okay, I retried it, and it's been working like a charm. I haven't been able to click a hub to teleport all norns to that location, but that may be my fault, since I have the "40 norns" mod installed -- but that's not a big issue for me, personally, and I'm so happy I have a means by which to rescue the silly norns that get "caught" or "stuck" in such odd places. Thank you!

Hm, that's possibly my fault-- I used BobCob's "embed" to package the sprites into the Cob, but perhaps that doesn't work the way I think it does? I'll upload a new version with the sprites included. Sorry about that! When you see the version tick 1.1, it's ready to download.

I'm having trouble inputting this into my game. I placed the file into my "Objects" folder where my other COBs are and I keep getting an error when I try to input it, saying that the sprites are missing.
Is there any way I can fix that?
[Edit: Thanks, admin, for removing the extra post ^^]
