The Creatures Remastered Patch is a necessity for all installations of Creatures: The Albian Years, Creatures Exodus, and Creature Village. It allows third party add-ons and installers to work correctly with the games, which is essential. If you seem to be having trouble with installing new agents, breeds, or COBs, pick up the Creatures Remastered Patch!

Don says: "Adds support for the original Creatures add-on installers and developer tools to the remastered Creatures titles: The Albian Years, Creatures Exodus and Creatures Village. After running this file once, all the breed, agent, and update installers will work with your new games."

Although this is listed as a C3/DS download, it also applies to C1, C2, and CV.

the site hosting this seems to be broken

the 2006 ccsf age had a download of the creatures remastered patch though
