Improved CFE Treehuggers C3DS Malkin | 3/15/2013 | 3 |
type | Genetics Only | author | ylukyun | updated | 3/15/2013 | website | [view] | Inspired by a thread on Creatures Caves, these norns should be able to navigate better than normal Treehuggers, and have genes for improved social interactions. The rest of the Treehugger Care Guide still applies! |

Post some! I think emo hipster norns would be a great genetic breed... especially if you can get them really dark-colored.

Malkin. I am actually starting to think my population developed the "emo hipster" mutation described by you and Evolnemesis a while back.

Not sure what to tell you there - mine haven't seemed suddenly too lonely, and I've looked through the genome of the Improved CFE Treehuggers to see if there's an inactive gene resolving excess loneliness. Perhaps you need to keep your Improved CFE Treehuggers in a smaller room? Norns do tend to get lost in big rooms (like Aquatilis Caverna), perhaps they're having trouble finding a friend?

Bugs and critters reduce their loneliness as well as crowdedness.
Part of it could also be that their natural affinity to bugs and critters tends to resolve any crowdedness before it can combine with and reduce loneliness?
My guess is one of the genes related to loneliness is still inactive, since the treehuggers didn't have loneliness before perhaps one of the genes that lessens it was also inactive.

The CFE in general have an amped-up loneliness drive from non-CFE creatures, to help the hate/dislike/like/love feature work.

They are? I don't remember what I did here so it's possible that they could feel loneliness more. Will take a look at the genome tomorrow.

They actually Lonely pretty much all the time! I don't see what's causing it though.
