The first type, Cattle Norn A, age quickly to adulthood and tend to breed a lot once they get started. They also don't get crowded very easily. They aren't immune to being hit, but adults should make a decent meal for your Grendels. The babies work better as snacks. The second type, Cattle Norn B, is almost immortal and should be infertile. They are immune to being hit, and actually gain nutrients from being hit if I remember correctly. They are killed almost imminently when the hand slaps them though, as a sort of "safety mechanism" but I don't actually think there is a need for it in most cases. |

Cattle Norn B isn't truly immortal, I've found out; My oldest one died around 14 hours. So they'll outlive a female GoM if the hand doesn't slap them, or they don't die of disease. | |||||||||
