They have been color edited so that as adults they are a violet hue so deep it's almost black. The color genes are also somewhat mutable. In my own testing, after just a few generations I was getting three distinct color strains - violet, blue, and brown. Finally, their general genetic condition takes advantage of my continuing genetic learning process. They're longer-lived, hardier, and less continually angry than the original version 1 Hunters.
