They were created to go along with the Wispy Norns so that the norns could get to know grendels without dying. They don't appear in the egg layer - instead, they have an egg layer that is injected via the Creator or Agent Injector. They come in two varieties: C3 Grendel (Grendel A) and Banshee Grendel (Grendel B).
