Almost bluntly, Izzy says "then don't." She takes a step back and smiles. "You're so serious, let's just enjoy what we have." | |||||||||||||||||||

Izzy cuddles up to John and sweetly says, "I love you, too." | |||||||||||||||||||

Izzy looks up from her feet and smiles broadly. Her blushing is less severe but her eyes look happier and brighter than ever. She throws her arms around him and plants a kiss right on his cheek, forgetting what her owner said about being less forward and impulsive. "I'm so happy!" She lets him go, grabs his hands and says, loud enough for anybody around to here "We should be together forever!" | |||||||||||||||||||

Izzy giggles and pokes John in the belly with her carrot. "I'm just giving you a hard time." She takes a crunchy bite of the carrot watches John. She blushes slightly and looks down at her feet, showing a coy side that John hadn't seen before. "Sooo..." She takes a nibble from her carrot and looks away from John. "I like you. A lot." Her face starts to turn a deeper shade of red. | |||||||||||||||||||

Happily, the two left to gather apples together before dark. Days passed and the two carried on like this, getting closer and closer every day. One day, Izzy was rummaging through her bag, looking for her favorite snack. "John, I don't think we have any cheese left." She looked up, smiling mischievously. "You ate it, didn't you?" She hugged him from the side and poked his belly playfully. | |||||||||||||||||||

Just one more point! Might I suggest John put up his "Do Not Disturb" sign?

Izzy claps with delight. "This is fun! I guess we both need more practice being goalies." She looks up at the sun and notices how low it's dipped. "Oops! I guess we spent longer picking up rocks than we thought." She looks at her feet while she thinks. "I'm hungry. We should eat. "She picks up her bag and ball and looks at John. "Do you want to pick fruit with me?" | |||||||||||||||||||

Izzy, ball under her arm, smiles wide at John as she passes by. "That was great! I'm gonna try to do that well, too.  "She gets into position, drops the ball in front of her and kicks it in John's direction. | |||||||||||||||||||
|
Izzy grins slightly. Now that she knew her friend was OK, she had to stifle a giggle - she figured him to be more graceful. Then again, she's had plenty of falls, tumbles and even a few scrapes given her reckless, often hyperactive behavior. She makes a dive for the ball, arms outstretched in front of her but doesn't block it in time. She thuds onto the soft grass and scrambles up to fetch the ball. "I'll get it! Then it's my turn!" | |||||||||||||||||||

Startled, Izzy rushes over to John. "Are you ok!? Do you need help?" She looks over him with concern and holds out a hand to help him sit up. | |||||||||||||||||||
