| Shadyk was named after a character in Guardians of Ga'hoole. He is very similar to his namesake personality-wise. He has astonishingly high intelligence and was born with the ability to speak and read. He is studying black magic at the moment and once he learns some spells he plans to use them on nornchis, which he despises. He also likes to take critters and cut off one of their body parts, like a tail or leg, so he can watch the results. Creepy!![[nscared] [nscared]](/images/smilies/emot_scared.gif) Shadyk is unsure of where he'll go when he dies... |

D: !!!
... Silvia, after hearing the chatter round town of her beloved father's end, is in disbelief. She rushes to the graveyard, running through names until she reaches the familiar; and upon seeing the fresh mound of soil there marking a new inhabitant of the little space, with a small white spray of freshly-cut flowers atop it, she realizes that the rumors she'd heard were true. She falls to her knees and stares at her father's grave. Why? Why so soon?! Oh, she wishes she could just bring him back... her mind momentarily directs itself towards black magic. Maybe her father had discovered some way to... but no. Not even her father, as great a mage as he was, could create a spell powerful enough to do that. She finally grasps the permanence of his absence and begins to weep, hugging her father's headstone just to have something in her arms. When she's run out of tears and calmed down a bit, she picks up a fallen petal from her father's flower bunch and plucks a bit of her fur from her head, then focuses hard upon the two components, trying to use a splicing spell her father'd taught her... and it works. A beautiful, shimmering, bright blue and violet flower appears. She lightly props it up against her father's headstone, smiles, and says she loves him before slowly walking away.

Silvia chuckles, waits until her dad falls asleep, and rubs some green berries she found growing on a nearby bush into her father's hair. but, oh no! It turned purple! She hadn't looked inside the berries first ... oh, well. She hopes it will still make him feel better. xD

Shadyk says that unfortunately, his efforts to reverse his aging have been fruitless. He instead tries to find some hair dye....

Silvia notices her father's distress over his aging fur and covertly asks him whether he knows any color changing spells he could teach her.

Soon you will also sprout white hairs, little Shadyk....

Magnolia's spirit wafts silently into Shadyk's study as he busily takes notes on his last black magic attempt. She sidles up beside him, unnoticed, and pauses here for a moment, admiring her love. After passing a ghostly hand across his cheek in one last loving caress, she vanishes. Shadyk feels a slight hint of warmth upon his face, and raises a hand to the area in surprise. He pauses for a moment, but passes it off as a heat flash. He returns to his work happy and unfazed, while Magnolia drifts off with a smile into ever-peaceful sleep.

There! I made a family tree for Magnolia and Shadyk, including both their family histories. It's in the graphics section of the gallery. :3 <3

Ah, ok.

Well, there are some unofficial family trees created by members. I think Nutter kept track for a while.
