| | Gomaz was a curious black norn, with a great instinct for exploration and discovery! On his forehead and stomach is a red diamond, no doubt something he inherited from his Harlequin mother!
He had many strange knick knacks and souvenirs from his travels dotted around in the interior of his old mother's (then his, then his family's) treehouse, along with pictographic descriptions of his adventures doodled on leaves. Inside is a portal to Dulcia, a realm that he used to visit and tend to frequently.
Dulcia is the mystical land of sweets, which he found and discovered along with his mother Sprig. Normally, Dulcia can only be found by following the brightest star east on the first night of summer, but since Sprig has set up a "telly-port" inside, it can be visited anytime! Gomaz and his family have since set up another shelter in Dulcia, both to house the portal and to house themselves.
On his adventures, he has found an alluring yellow Nornchi in the desert, Sahara. Since then, they've moved in together and started a family.
Soon afterwards, he discovered a treasure chest, buried by his mother for him to find. Now that he knows where his mother is, he sets out once again to explore with her, watching his family from the stars. Gomaz has found his mother! |

Sprig suggests Gomaz.

(Haha, like father like daughter!)
The green egg smiles back at his mother, even as his new face is slowly being washed away in a sea of drool.
Father, mother, what will you name your new son?

Onyx licks the scribbled face off the egg.

And so it begins.

Sprig sniffles a bit as she looks over the sleek green egg. So this is what parenthood feels like... She curls herself protectively around her smooth little egg, creating a sort of nest around it as she snuggles it into her belly fur. She's certainly not as large as Gormez was when he did the same for his grandson, but she is ever determined to protect her little bundle of love.
Almost instinctively, she scrawls her favorite marker across the surface of the egg, drawing a scribbly little face on the shell. She attempts to make it look scary, but it looks rather happy instead. There, now nobody will try and steal it! Little does Sprig know, her egg probably doesn't contain a little Grendel as she expects!
