| | Sahara hatched as a pale white egg in the desert. From a young age she learned that cacti can be eaten if you smash them open first, and that Gnarlers and Balloonbugs make great playthings. She explored most of the desert by the time she was an adolescent, but couldn't explore to deep into the desert's mountains or anywhere outside the desert because she would start to shiver. So she tried to forget what might be out there, which wasn't hard as she was easily distracted by anything shiny.
Then she met Gomaz and her life changed for the better. She learned that outside wasn't so cold when you had blankets, and a friend to explore with. She even traveled to Dulcia while pregnant, and made Dulcia her permenet home. When Gomaz died, Sahara continued to explore Dulcia alone. She managed to tame a few pepperment birds while getting old and grey, and even trained them how to deliver packages. Rest in peace Sahara. Sahara has discovered that there are ghost cacti! |

A few days after helping Gomaz find the desert flower for his mom and Sahara suddenly feels larger. She wonders why for a split second before seeing a shiny gadget buried in the desert and walks up toward it, forgetting what she was just thinking about.

Reading this made my whole day! Cute

Sahara points westward and starts up the dune. "This way! Are you sure your going to be okay in all this heat?"
|
| |
|
Gomaz nods, standing up. "Yeah, that might work perfectly! Where can we go find one?"
|

Sahara looks at him funny, wondering how how anyone could think that a desert would be anything but hot.
"An adventurer! I don't thunk I've ever met one out here in the desert. Sorry to hear about your mom.. Maybe she would like a desert flower? They always make me feel better."

Gomaz has his priorities set at sating his thirst and hunger first, and answering questions later! Thankfully, it did not take him long to consume the cactus with gusto.
He exhales a breath of relief.
"Ah! Thank you very much! I needed that!"
"I'm Gomaz, and I'm an adventurer! My mother is not doing so well, so I thought that maybe I can find something out there that can make her feel better . . ."
Gomaz looks up at the sky, squinting his eyes.
"You can't see them in the daytime, but I got here by following the stars west. I didn't think it'd get so hot once the sun rose!"

Sahara notices the black Nornchi waving at her and waves back. She leaves his sight for a moment before coming back with a large cactus bit that is oddly thorn-less. She offers it to him and introduces herself.
"Hi, I'm Sahara! What brings you to the desert on such a fine day?"
|

Wandering around the desert, a black Nornchi has to take a rest in the shade of a large cactus. His fur is absolutely soaking with sweat, and his coughing is frequent.
Gomaz isn't sure if he is actually seeing a yellow Creatchi walking over the dunes, or if it's another heat-induced hallucination. He sees no harm in waving to the child, even if she might not be real. He'll need all the help he can get at this point!

A proper desert Norn! Maybe a red male will hatch and she can have a magma baby

Another day, another cactus. Sahara has learned to use a rock to smash open a few of the smaller cacti. While eating a piece of cactus she watches a balloon bug land on a strange looking stone near the top of the desert. She watches it carefully, in case it tries to steal her food, not knowing what it is exactly.
