| | Sahara hatched as a pale white egg in the desert. From a young age she learned that cacti can be eaten if you smash them open first, and that Gnarlers and Balloonbugs make great playthings. She explored most of the desert by the time she was an adolescent, but couldn't explore to deep into the desert's mountains or anywhere outside the desert because she would start to shiver. So she tried to forget what might be out there, which wasn't hard as she was easily distracted by anything shiny.
Then she met Gomaz and her life changed for the better. She learned that outside wasn't so cold when you had blankets, and a friend to explore with. She even traveled to Dulcia while pregnant, and made Dulcia her permenet home. When Gomaz died, Sahara continued to explore Dulcia alone. She managed to tame a few pepperment birds while getting old and grey, and even trained them how to deliver packages. Rest in peace Sahara. Sahara has discovered that there are ghost cacti! |

"Sure! What would you like to do? There isn't much to do here." She wonders if Gomaz likes to draw in the sand to, or poke critters.
(If you consider today to be a new day in the rp, just ignore what I said. X3)

Gomaz's mood immediately improves, smiling wide. It's difficult to see through his black fur, but a hint of red none the less appears on his cheeks.
"Y-yeah, me too!"
Gomaz is not good with words when flustered.
"I'll head home when night falls, and I'll see what I can find. I'll come back as soon as I can get something to keep you warm!"
The nervous Nornchi runs a hand through his hair, and looks up at the morning sky. The sun is hovering right over them, and it doesn't seem like it will go down anytime real soon.
"In the meantime, do you want to hang out?"
| | |
|
Sahara smiles and does a little happy dance.
"Of course I would! Going anywhere with you would be-" She blushes and giggles, wondering if Gomaz feels the same.
(Also baby bumblebee on its way )

|
"Maybe . . .", Gomaz rubs his bottom. "I would've think that she would of told me about it too, like she told me about Dulcia."
The black Nornchi straightens his back. "Speaking of which, would you be interested in visiting Dulcia? I'm sure that I have something back home that can keep you warm!"
| | |
|
Sahara tries not to smile at Gomaz burning his bottom, remembering the first time she did that.
"Maybe she found a way to swim in space and found a way to the fabled Albiachi? though it sounded more possible in my head..." Sahara draws in the sand absentmindedly.
"Maybe there is a door to where she went?"
| | |
|
Gomaz shakes his head
"She wasn't home. She left a note saying that she left to a world beyond. Which one, though? And where?", he sighs. He sits down on a nearby rock, only to yelp in surprise as the heat burns his bottom!
"I think I might have a 'mutation' too! Only, I burn and sweat a lot in the heat!"
| | |
|
Sahara looks at him carefully, knowing something is up. She accepts the fruit and eats it, savoring the flavor. She looks a bit more nervous at his last question. She is more sensitive to cold then other Norns, and has never really understood why.
"Sometimes, but I usually end up shivering. So I just stay here, where it's warmer... I think one of the Ettinchis called it a mutation?
What's wrong though? You look a little... sad. Did your mom like the flower?"
| | |
|
"I-I'm fine . . .", he lies.
As he gets closer and closer, it becomes easier to see all that's wrong with him. His eyes are sunken, and the fur underneath them are wetter than the rest of him. His ears are drooping flat against the sides of his face, and his smile is obviously forced.
Regardless, Gomaz tries to appear cheery for his friend, dropping the handle of the wagon so he could dig through it. He pulls out a shiny, red fruit with a yellow spiral running through it, which he offers to Sahara.
"Say, have you ever left the desert before? I only ever see you here."
| | |
|
(It's completely understandable. X3)
Sahara was poking an unhappy gnarler when she sees Gomaz wave to her. She waves back and the gnarler takes this opportunity to run away. Sahara just watches the gnarler get away before wandering up to Gomaz. She smiles at him, happy that he's prepared for the desert now.
"What's up Gomaz?"

((Sorry for not responding! I was distracted with finals and graduation!))
Several days later . . .
Gomaz found himself back in the desert again, this time by wandering in random directions rather than following the night sky. He was better supplied this time, leading a small wagon of food and water behind him.
As soon as he sees his new friend, the one that helped him a few days ago, he waved
