Then she met Gomaz and her life changed for the better. She learned that outside wasn't so cold when you had blankets, and a friend to explore with. She even traveled to Dulcia while pregnant, and made Dulcia her permenet home. When Gomaz died, Sahara continued to explore Dulcia alone. She managed to tame a few pepperment birds while getting old and grey, and even trained them how to deliver packages. Rest in peace Sahara. Sahara has discovered that there are ghost cacti! |

"You've never heard of it? Dulcia is the land of sweets, of course! Bushels of cookies grow on trees, cinnamon stalks grow like bamboo forests, lakes of sugar-water filled with Swedish fish (Please don't ask me what Swedish means), the list goes on!" He starts to drool a bit thinking about it. "I know you'll love it! And I'm posititve the baby will too! Have I ever told you about Ashcorp, my sister? She hatched on the way to Dulcia with me and my mother." Gomaz scratches his chin thoughtfully. "Flying fish? Well, I suppose they'd be easy enough to make. We could tie objects we wanted to deliver to a fish, and then throw it!" | |||||||||||||

Sahara tried not to laugh as Gomaz flies around in a panic, and accepts the basket. She walks beside him, happily. "I'm sure we will get there in time. What's Dulcia like? Are there any flying fish there? I had this one weird dream where flying fish were delivering items..." | |||||||||||||

Memories of traveling to Dulcia with his pregnant mother, and future sister, flash into his head. His mouth gapes in disbelief. "Oh! Oooooh . . . oh no!" Gomaz flies into a brief panic, and begins searching his wagon. "What are we going to carry the baby in? I didn't know this would happen! I don't know how babies are made! Uhh . . ." He settles for a second blanket, tying it into a round, empty bundle. He hands it to Sahara "Here, we can carry it in this. That is, if it comes out before we get there." The father-to-be exhales. He smiles at Sahara. "It shouldn't be a problem if we leave soon, though!" Gomez grabs the handle of the hand-pulled wagon, and motions for her to walk with him. His movements are more erratic and excited than before - and he was already joyful when he first got back! | |||||||||||||

She smiles coyly and whispers in his ear: "Your going to be a father." She looks at him, joy practically leaping off of her. | |||||||||||||

Gomaz nods, looking around for signs of other life. The Nornchi can't help but grin when he hears Sahara giggle, feeling a deep fuzzy feeling in the pit of his stomach. He only finds a few lizards and some strange fish in the shallows. "Room for three? I don't see anyone else here, though! Why? Do you want to go pick up a friend somewhere along the way?" | |||||||||||||

Sahara meanwhile, had been exploring the various wildlife there, and even found an edible fruit growing among the shallows. She did have a weird dream of flying fish delivering items after eating it, and she decided she didn't want to ever eat underwater fruit again. Other times she dipped her toes in the cold water, but decided that she liked being dry better. Three days later, and she is listening to Gomaz explain his journey in excitement. She happily wraps a blanket around her, surprised it was a soft as it was. She wondered briefly if she should tell him about her flying delivery system, before answering him. She smiles and nods at him, feeling sort of nervous. "I'm ready! Is there room for three on our trip? I think I'm-" She blushes and giggles in excitement. | |||||||||||||

It's been about three days since Sahara last saw Gomaz, before he finally arrives back as promised. He's in a flurry of excitement, rushing through details as he describes how he got lost, where he went, and what he found along the way. Oh! His mother left some treasure buried for him to find too! And the sooner they can arrive home, the sooner they can dig it up and look inside! Meanwhile, he's digging through his wagon until he procures a blanket or two, which he hand to Sahara. "Anyway, I'm ready to go whenever you are! Are you ready?" | |||||||||||||

Gomaz didn't want to go, but nonetheless he had preparations to make! With a longing goodbye and a promise to come back, he grabs his wagon and walks off into the cold desert night. He leaves behind excess supplies that he won't be needing for the return trip, including a jug of water and several bags of fruit native to Dulcia - land of sweets. | |||||||||||||

Gomaz and Sahara spent most of the day exploring the desert, finding areas that even Sahara didn't know existed. One spot higher up in the hills has a waterfall coming off a cliff, and into cool, clear pond. They spent the rest of the day there, as it was cooler there then in the rest of the desert. Before they knew it, the sun had set, and the moon was reflecting off the waterfall. | |||||||||||||

Gomaz giggles "Whatever works for you, works for me!" (A time skip would be nice! I'll let you decide what they do for the rest of the day, and then we'll skip to night!) | |||||||||||||
