Though she may have grown up and passed on, she was always as playful and naive as a little child. Once she had learned the concept of death, she realized that her life-long search for her daddy was in vain. The pain of losing her father was renewed when she learned of Gormez's passing, as he had always been like a father in her eyes. Sprig took some comfort in the fact that she was paired with her friend, KocchiMaru, who had helped her cope with the deep sadness held in the loss of her two father figures. Then, she had a little egg of her own to love and care for. She was a little overwhelmed with such responsibility, but with KocchiMaru by her side each day, she was determined to be a good mother. She loved her family very much, and was very protective of them. When her egg hatched, she was astonished that it did not contain a little Grendel as she expected! However, Sprig then fully understood the joy of parenting, and couldn't be happier. She was very proud of her darling little boy, and would happily talk the ear of any passers by about how wonderful her son is! Soon after, she took her son on the adventure of a lifetime, all the way to Dulcia! Little did she know, she was pregnant again! Her second child, Ashcorp, was born and hatched on the way to Dulcia. With the careful placement of a "telly-port", Sprig gave her family access to Dulcia whenever they please. Upon discovering her shock of white hair, she was devastated. Not for her own life or well-being, but for the sake of her family. She remembered the deep pain of losing her own father, and was terrified to leave her children and husband alone in the world. Despite her age, she still made sure to leave a will to her children, and one last goodbye. She will forever watch over them in the afterlife. Farewell little Sprig, you will be missed. ". . . Sister?" Gomaz touches the egg gently, still taking the information in. He looks up at his mother, questionably. "Wait, does this mean we have to go back? How are we going to take care of an egg while we're traveling? What if it hatches?" | |||||||||||||||||

Sprig chuckles and ruffles the dark fur on his head. "This is my egg, silly! Say hello to your little sister!" | |||||||||||||||||

Gomaz runs over to see what the wait is about, when he sees the egg in her arms. His eyes widen, and he apprehensively pokes the side of the egg "Wow. Who would leave an egg laying out in the plains by itself?" | |||||||||||||||||
|
Somewhere out on the plains, Sprig calls for Gomaz to wait up! He has to see what surprise she has in store for him. She sits on the soft yellow grass, with her arm curled around a fiery red egg!

"Then you better hurry up! We can't be late!" Laughing, Gomaz charges ahead once more, stopping at points to wait for his mother to catch up to him. At the rate they're going, they're soon past the canopy of leaves in the forest, and out into the plains. What will they find out there? | |||||||||||||||||

Surprised by her son's enthusiasm, Sprig grabs her bags and darts after him, grinning. When she does catch up to him, she scoops him up in a great big bear hug, laughing. "You silly goose, you can't find Dulcia all alone! Only by twos can the sweet lands be found!" With a small grunt, she must put her dear boy down. Perhaps it's because he's gotten a bit bigger, or maybe it's the noticeable pudge in her belly... | |||||||||||||||||

Gomaz is momentarily entranced by the colors of the setting sun, but soon wakes up out of his daydream and turns his head skywards, anticipating the appearance of the brightest star. It's not too long until it finally shows up. The young Nornchi points up at it excitedly, and rushes ahead of his mother to the east. "To Dulcia! To Dulcia!" | |||||||||||||||||

Sprig giggles and points to a large bag, filled with anything else they might need, plus a special sack for new items they might find. She hops out of the mud puddle and wades into the nearby lake, about up to her belly. Careful not to go to deep, she washes off all the mud and runs back to her son, her fur drying in the late afternoon breeze. She sees the setting sun and starts to grin. "Now we just wait for the brightest star to shine in the night sky, and we'll be off to Dulcia!" | |||||||||||||||||
