For many hours, Zeke had been having visions of a beautiful female Ettinchi, and trying to make contact with her. Suddenly, he heard a voice speaking in a strange language... it seemed to be saying "Curiosa". Perhaps this female Ettinchi wanted a Curiosa Squid. How odd! Zeke stared at a nearby baby Curiosa Squid, and with all his energy focused on it, keeping a picture of the female Ettinchi in his mind. The Curiosa Squid disappeared - the first time Zeke had ever managed to move an object more than a few feet away with his power. He hoped it had reached its destination - particularly given he didn't know where that destination was! | |||||||||||||||||||

Walking through the caves, Plainsong met a pretty, gold ettinchi whose words echoed in her head, even though he never opened his mouth. He also seemed to smell faintly of the sea. "Curiouser and curiouser," thought Plainsong - and hoped the ettinchi couldn't hear her. | |||||||||||||||||||

Plainsong looks at her small collection of food and toys, and wonders who this "Chant" person was. | |||||||||||||||||||
|
Chant wishes there were some way he could stash away a teddy or a piece of cheese for his sister, for when she hatches. | |||||||||||||||||||
