Then she met Gomaz and her life changed for the better. She learned that outside wasn't so cold when you had blankets, and a friend to explore with. She even traveled to Dulcia while pregnant, and made Dulcia her permenet home. When Gomaz died, Sahara continued to explore Dulcia alone. She managed to tame a few pepperment birds while getting old and grey, and even trained them how to deliver packages. Rest in peace Sahara. Sahara has discovered that there are ghost cacti! |

Sahara takes the letter, wondering if is a letter from his mother. She can't help but giggle as Gomaz tries to calm down. | |||||||||||||

He laughs so hard he almost falls out of the tree! Look at those ridiculously long necks! that curved beak pointing downwards! They're so skinny! How do they even fly on those wings? Gomaz hands her the letter from his mother as he tries to calm down, tears of laughter surging up to drown his eyes. | |||||||||||||

"Up here!" She slowly climbs up the tree, showing Gomaz where the best footholds are. They reach the strange looking birds and Sahara points out the peppermint-colored birds. She giggles at them. "Don't they look silly?" | |||||||||||||
|
"Haha, really? What do they look like?" There he goes, getting distracted again. He climbs the rest of the way up to meet her, carrying the letter with him. "Where are they?" | |||||||||||||
|
Sahara, meanwhile had somehow managed to climb a tree and was watching some peppermint birds flutter around in the trees. She heard Gomaz before she saw them and called his name, saying that she found these weird birds. She climbs down the tree, sliding a part of the way down. "Over here, I found these weird looking birds!" | |||||||||||||

Gomaz eventually wakes up from his tearful nap, brushing his hand through his hair. Wait a minute . . . something is different! He gets up and runs outside, to the pool where he saw his mother last. His black fur - all of it, has dulled to a wizened grey. The red diamonds on his forehead and stomach are, thankfully, unchanged from age. He was only gone from Dulcia one day after his mother grew grey hair. One day. If she was any indication, he would be meeting her by the day's end, if not sooner. Gomaz grabs the letter and starts a frantic search for his beloved. | |||||||||||||

Sahara blinks for one second and she's suddenly in a whole different room. First thing she does is carefully place the egg in a safe spot. Then she sits down next to Gomaz and snuggles up to him. She yawns and says: "Perfectly comfortable. I can't believe how many different animals and plants are out there!" | |||||||||||||
