Sprig Nornchi Trell | born 5/10/2013 | 6 | Sprig was a curious, tomboyish Harlequin Nornchi with a tender, sensitive side. She loved to go exploring and go on adventures! Sprig loved to climb trees and play, especially with her bear. She was certainly no girly girl, that's for sure! Sprig was mischievous and messy as a Grendel! Speaking of Grendels, Sprig looked up to the Grendelchi Gormez as a fatherly figure after her own dad passed away.
Though she may have grown up and passed on, she was always as playful and naive as a little child.
Once she had learned the concept of death, she realized that her life-long search for her daddy was in vain. The pain of losing her father was renewed when she learned of Gormez's passing, as he had always been like a father in her eyes.
Sprig took some comfort in the fact that she was paired with her friend, KocchiMaru, who had helped her cope with the deep sadness held in the loss of her two father figures. Then, she had a little egg of her own to love and care for. She was a little overwhelmed with such responsibility, but with KocchiMaru by her side each day, she was determined to be a good mother. She loved her family very much, and was very protective of them.
When her egg hatched, she was astonished that it did not contain a little Grendel as she expected! However, Sprig then fully understood the joy of parenting, and couldn't be happier. She was very proud of her darling little boy, and would happily talk the ear of any passers by about how wonderful her son is!
Soon after, she took her son on the adventure of a lifetime, all the way to Dulcia! Little did she know, she was pregnant again! Her second child, Ashcorp, was born and hatched on the way to Dulcia. With the careful placement of a "telly-port", Sprig gave her family access to Dulcia whenever they please.
Upon discovering her shock of white hair, she was devastated. Not for her own life or well-being, but for the sake of her family. She remembered the deep pain of losing her own father, and was terrified to leave her children and husband alone in the world.
Despite her age, she still made sure to leave a will to her children, and one last goodbye. She will forever watch over them in the afterlife.
Farewell little Sprig, you will be missed. Sprig is watching over her family from Creatchi Heaven. |

Missing you. :c

After returning from the desert, with a precious flower in his hand, Gomaz climbs up the treehouse as fast as his legs can carry him.
When he reaches the top, he finds a note.
His eyes start to water uncontrollably, and he whines audibly. The distressed Nornchi almost breaks the door ramming it open with his shoulder, and he hops into the "telly-port" quick as a blink.
He wanders for what seems like ages for signs of his mother, but finds none. At last he laments as he stops by the lake, where he last saw her.
Worlds beyond . . . Dulcia is a world beyond his native world. If he could find Dulcia, he could find a world even farther . . . right?
Gomaz settles into a sleep, after a tiring four-day trip to the desert and back. He can do all of that later. For now, there are more immediate things to take care of. Like that treasure!

Goodnight, Sprig. :c

Sprig watches her dear son disappear through the "telly-port", and cries harder. He's gotten so big, she's so proud of him... But, will she live long enough to see Ashcorp grow? Will she be able to meet Gomaz's future children?
With all the worry and stress getting to her, Sprig lays down on the soft grass. She's exhausted, but afraid to fall asleep. She remembers how Gormez went to sleep and never woke up...

Gomaz waited patiently for his mother to arrive back, not wanting to risk taking a trip himself just yet.
He was just as shocked as she was when he saw her.
"Mom? Mom!"
At loss for what to do, Gomaz softly pats his mother on the back. Something did this to her! But what?
"Stay here. I'll be back!"
Gomaz turns to the "telly-port" and activates it. He waves goodbye as his body dissolves, and reforms back home.

After a few minutes, Sprig returns through the "telly-port" followed closely by KocchiMaru, much to the relief of her two children.
"See! It worked-" She stopped short, catching a glimpse of her reflection in the shimmery lake. Tears well up in her eyes when she sees her graying hair. Remembering how her daddy's hair was gray before he died, she sits on the riverbank and cries.

|
(Honestly, I have no idea what I'm doing. )
"Positive. I know it'll work!" Sprig nods, and presses the big red button on the "telly-port" with a wink. In an instant, she disappears!

(I was wondering if you weren't If you need help with it, I might be able to help in some way. No guarantees though, since I've already got a project or two underway!)
Gomaz apprehensively approaches the "telly-port", a look of apprehension on his face.
"Are you sure that we'll be able to come back if we use this? I thought we could only come here on the first day of summer . . ."

(I'm making Dulcia into a meta-room~)
Sprig chuckles and grins at her son's reactions to it all. She knew he'd love it here. She bit into her candy and was surprised herself; this orange candy is full of soft, white, creamy fluff! She herself doesn't know all of the magical land's secrets, apparently.
"The trees won't be like that in the morning, their stardust will float back up to the night sky and they'll be trees. All that shimmery starlight we saw is truly once in a lifetime."
She reached into her bag, and pulled out a small device that she pilfered in her childhood. Grinning mischievously, she set it on the ground and pushed a button. The device latched itself into the grassy hill, and lit up a bit.
"The Ettins call this a 'telly-port', I think. It's gonna let us come here whenever we want!" She gathered some goodies in her sack and sat back down at the base of the tree, watching her dear son enjoy himself.

Gomaz was so tired from the long trek that he was about to fall asleep himself! He did not resist as his little sister crawled out of his protective embrace, and wouldn't have resisted closing this eye neither, if it wasn't for his mother nudging him!
The sights he saw were nothing less than miraculous. His jaw dropped, and he laid on the grass, limp as his brain worked to commit the swirling stars to memory. He replayed the scene over and over again in his head, when Sprig brought the astonished Nornchi out of his stupor with a snack.
He brought the candy orb to his mouth. Everything so far has not only confirmed what his mother told him about Dulcia, but exceeded it. Gomaz was rejuvenated!
Still nibbling on the sweet, he approached one of the trees for a closer look. The flora of Dulcia betrayed their celestial origins readily, as it became apparent that the shimmer wasn't necessarily coming from the night sky, but from themselves! His usual black fur appeared to pale in the light. He eyed the canopy, and with a leap, his hand reached out and tugged a leaf from the tree. The leaf turned back into a star, shining brightly before flying out of his hand to rejoin the tree it was pulled from. Strange . . .
Gomaz starts grabbing more fruit, more flowers, more mushrooms, more anything, placing a few samples of each into his sack for safe keeping.
