I'm guessing "No" is the "I tried but couldn't get into it" option? I enjoy the stories that come out of it more than playing the game, the difficulty curve is somewhat too steep for me.
My favourite story is Buckets.

I play it occasionally, but I don't get through my games well.

I think Bronzemurder is the one I enjoy more of the two.

I would definitely rate Bronzemurder better than Boatmurdered. As for Let's Plays... >.>

I haven't read a lot of LPs/succession games, but I'll admit there are better ones than Boatmurdered. I linked it because it's the popular one, basically (also it's what got me interested in the game.)
I'd love to join in on a succession game, but alas, my laptop is nonfunctional and my dad doesn't want me installing a bunch of stuff on his computer.

I've played it, but I only know some of the basics! I'd join if there was a Creatures succession fort, but I'm not sure how long it'd last with me. XD

I think Boatmurdered at this rate is too popular. I enjoy a lot of the drawn ones, but I prefer even more Bravemule than Boatmurdered. There are a bunch of good fort stories, and succession games.
I was actually thinking we should start up a Creatures Caves Succession Fort, that way we can not only have some fun, but even work as a team (in the loosest definition of the word)
It is best to read the wiki, or the main site, or even better

Personally, I also use a fan-tile-set, mostly because I didn't feel like I had the time to learn the different things over and over. I had to adjust to the learning concave cliff, SO, I dug into the clift, bent it's geometry, and physics, and tried to scale it.
Merely making it past your first year can be tough.
Not everything is trying to kill you, but more, everything is looking to profit from your misfortune.

Brave Mule
Bravemule, or, Matul Remrit, is a great Fort, wherein each section of the story is told by a different Dorf, from what I remember. The writing is great, and it feels 'real'.
LASTLY, a great comic you may have seen parts of....

Oh, while I'm at it: Edit: Even if you don't want to play the game yourself, there's been a couple good Let's Plays. Boatmurdered is probably the most famous.
Don't worry if you don't understand what's going on in the screenshots- even I have trouble parsing them, since I'm not used to the default "graphics" (I use a fanmade graphical tileset). The narration explains them.

It's... tough to explain. XD
Fortress mode has you overseeing the building and running of a dwarf fortress (wow, really?). There's also Adventure mode, which is a roguelike? idk I don't play Adventure. Everything is trying to kill you and in the latter, your dwarves are a bunch of manic-depressive alcoholics. Both modes are sandbox games, with no set goal. (There's also no "win" condition. The unofficial(?) motto is "Losing is fun."
Also the default graphics are composed of mainly ASCII characters, making the interface/UI pretty and easy to understand has basically never been a big priority of the dev's, it's buggy (still technically in alpha) and the thing is crazy complicated. It's not for everyone.

I've heard about it from many people, but I still don't know what it's about, or even what kind of game it is.
