Question from Worried Norn Wife  on 2/14/2006

Dear Laura,
I've got a problem! My husband has been sneaking out at night, only to be seen sleeping on the couch in the morning! What do I have to do to keep him in our den?
- Worried Norn Wife

Dear Worried Norn Wife,
Well, the lesser of two evils would be that he's seeing another Norn. The greater evil would be that he's seeing a Grendel. :| Does he come back from his 'excursions' with the smell of smoke, or a touch of lipstick on his fur? If so, you have cause to be worried. After all, no Norn should be out at night, lest they meet the terrible Grendel. If you've always had an open, trusting relationship before now, it's easy to see why you're so worried. Ask him about it, and watch his answers closely. If he says it's nothing in a guilty tone, you must teach him a lesson! What that lesson entails is entirely up to you. The only thing that I can think of that would keep him in the den is duck-tape. Restrain him there until he confesses. You must be strong, and be prepared to threaten him with the comfy chair; this matter must be gotten to the bottom of!
- Laura
