In other news, I'm not sure what I think of Alacamoth's populace. On one hand, I do like most of the initial population so far. However, so far I'm not so happy with the move-ins. Lopez is awesome enough, but I don't particularly like Charilise (my most recent move-in) and the next move-in chose a really inconvenient spot. Ah well. On a lighter note, Alcamoth gets the gardening store tomorrow and Sable's starting to warm up to Angel quite a bit. My cranky cat is finally warming up to me, I'm so happy <3 Hopefully I'll get his portrait soonish! Also, Zell requested I'd fetch Victoria to his house and when I did he said 'Oh, I had a dream you were moving to saturn and just wanted to see you one last time before you are off!' It made my day <3 I know it probably won't trigger Victoria moving, but I got Zell on my side! Haha.   Sanely Insane RisenAngel Manager     1/30/2015 Alcamoth now has a second bridge and a funded, but not yet built, campsite. Also, my ninth villager staked out her plot today - as it turns out, it's Freckles, who I had in a past town and am perfectly fine with. Her house isn't in such a bad spot either. So now comes the time where I start having people move out. The villagers I know I want to keep are Diana and Grizzly. I like Lopez, Egbert, Bianca, and Gala, but I'm not certain I like where their houses are (Gala and Egbert in particular are in somewhat awkward spots). Charlise I want gone because I don't like her (if the fact that I can't be bothered to spell her name right is any indication). Freckles could go either way; I'll see fully once she properly moves in and establishes herself. ~ The Realm ~ Risen Angel's Creatures Blog   jcnorn   1/30/2015 I sadly only have the one spot open, and I'm kind of hoping that I will run into Coco. Maybe Valentia was just having an unlucky few days. Shampoodle opened today and I finally got to use my Mii Mask! The museum shop was unveiled too, and I opened a Nintendo-themed exhibit. Super T&T Mart will open its doors tomorrow, and the fence (public work's project) was funded. Moreover, I made some good progress expanding my perfect orange farm. It's been a busy day! I did try to catch a popeyed goldfish, but I ran out of luck and time. In other Valentia news, the town has a new yellow bench, illuminated heart, instrument shelter, balloon arch, and today I unlocked The Roost Cafe. My paths are also nearly complete and we're well on our way to a 'Perfect Town' status! Woo hoo. Plus, Greta moved out (at last)!   jcnorn   2/6/2015 Stitches is looking awesome Laura!! I'm mostly waiting for spring-time in my village, I saw a goat camper the other day and was itching so bad to ask her to move in. I asked her once but she declined, so decided not to push it. I said she should move and she wasn't sure, but I kept asking her and eventually she agreed!   jcnorn   2/7/2015 I now know I should've, stupid Greta moved to my town And she picked the worst spot! Had it been someone I actually wanted I wouldn't have cared, but now I'm rather furious with her. Not only did she destroy one of the few non-fruit leaf trees I have, she ruined my road AND she made my town full again! So if someone I actually want to move in comes camping I can't invite them in. I'm so upset Chevre has this sign-sheet too, so if anyone can let me visit their town today would be great. For the sake of making sure her replacement moves into a place I'm okay with and is someone I actually like, I plan on plot resetting until I'm content. On the subject of move-outs, I finally decided to let one of Mabure's villagers move out - to be specific, Coach. He was my first move-in and I did like him, but I have the feeling he's been wanting to leave for a while. So I let him go. He moves out tomorrow. I'm a rather new addition I think my ds-name is either jcnorn or Jessey   Sanely Insane RisenAngel Manager     2/11/2015 Alcamoth has been making some wonderful progress lately. With the aid of this fancy gadget, Alcamoth finally has a worthy town flag. In addition, I looked up some sheet music and used it to give the place a town tune that I'm finally happy with. In addition, I got my first PWP request, and it turned out to be something I felt would fit Alcamoth's aesthetic: a wind turbine. That's been built, taking the first step towards my plan for the town. Finally, Club LOL opened up today, so Angel can finally start grabbing emotions. I still haven't gotten a new ninth after Charlise left, though hopefully that someone will show up tomorrow and my plot resetting will finally meet something. On the subject of villagers, I've also decided that I want Gayle the unfortunately-named alligator for Alcamoth. I don't think she'll be showing up for my plot-resetting tomorrow, however, and so I'm either going to have to get lucky with the campsite or find someone who has her and is willing to part with her. In other news, Coach has left Mabure. It was sad seeing him go, but at least I won't have to worry about anyone else wanting to move out for a while. Of course, I didn't worry about that for long as Festivale is next week and although it's probably going to be a week-long halt on any progress I can't help but be a little hyped. The fact that it's actually something more than Isabelle standing out on the plaza next to a cutout probably helps. I'm willing to have people over/go over to other people's towns today, if anyone wants to. I am a little concerned about having someone unexpected and most likely unwanted move in because of the visitations, however. ~ The Realm ~ Risen Angel's Creatures Blog   Sanely Insane RisenAngel Manager     2/13/2015 I've begun the process of plot resetting for Alcamoth's new ninth. As it turns out I'm not just restricted to Uchi villagers, so that means I have a bit more variety to choose from. It seems like everyone wants to move in directly south of Angel's house, though, which really isn't the most ideal spot for them to be. Mabure...has been absolutely crazy today. A couple days ago I had Avril head over to Alcamoth to try and convince a camper to move to Mabure (the camper was Wolfgang, in case you were wondering). Unfortunately, I found out that one can't invite campers from another town. Even more unfortunately, however, someone did decide to come to Mabure: Charlise. Fortunately, I found out she had decided to move to my other town while plot resetting, so she didn't ruin any paths or whatnot. However, that didn't stop me from hating her even more (I actually hate her more than Gracie now, and that's saying something). As such, I tried using this guide to try and get her to move out as soon as possible, breaking my usual rule of "no time travelling." I didn't manage to get her to leave (probably because I needed to greet her as all three of my characters before she would consider leaving), but in the process a lazy monkey by the name of Deli decided to camp in Mabure. I saw Deli in jcnorn's campsite a while back and seriously considered grabbing him for Alcamoth but didn't (not that I would have been able to anyway). Since Charlise was the latest move-in and probably wouldn't want to move, I decided to invite him in. It took a little convincing, but he agreed. Some "days" and a ton of plot-resetting later, his house is in Coach's old spot. From what little I've seen of him so far, I think he'll fit into Mabure quite nicely. I've since moved the time back to the present. While I still don't want Charlise in Mabure, I'll worry about chasing her out once Festivale has passed. For now, this whole misadventure was just the sort of shakeup Mabure needed, and with ten villagers I shouldn't have to worry about any other unwanted move-ins. ~ The Realm ~ Risen Angel's Creatures Blog   jcnorn   2/14/2015 I resetted my town yesterday! Sadly, I did it so late in the day Nook had closed up shop so I couldn't pay the downpayment to get my house today. Oh well! I'll get it tomorrow Been spending today running around fishing and catching what little bugs I can catch now. It's really refreshing to have Blathers actually excited about my fossils again! The only villager I like in my new town is Flurry, so I will be hanging on to her, been sending her letters and talking to her as soon as I see her while running around. The others I have only said hello to (as per Isabelle's request). Towntree-planting That's me planting the towntree (I went for a boy character this time) and all of my current neighbours. Flurry is the hamster I lost my star-patterned snow But the circle-pattern is pretty decent too, excited to see what grass pattern I get when the snow poofs! There's a new one that set up a spot where they want to move in, I didn't plot-reset because I figured I'd just take it as it comes, my new townmap is rather open in terms of that. Though when I start to actually decorate the town I think I will be doing plot-resetting   Tea Queen Laura Administrator     2/16/2015 VIVA... FESTIVALE! I've completed the Pave furniture set and collected a TON of duplicates, so I'm having a yard sale in Valentia! If anybody needs a Pave floor, bureau, clock, chest, closet, bookshelf, sofa, end table, table, bed or lamp, I'm happy to strike a deal or whatever! Today, my classic police station opened its doors and... I finally achieved a Perfect Town status. Time to build that fairy-tale town hall. P.S.
