Hi there, it's me again.
I've got a problem.
the pixie norns I downloaded are reproducing way to fast. the only thing I can think of that could have caused it on my end is that I increased the number of minutes in the day. Could this have caused it?
If so, how do I fix It without reverting the day length?
Thanks! |

Which game are we in? Did you download live creatures or a whole breed? Where'd you download them from?

Creatures docking station, a whole breed, Eem foo. It appears to affect other breeds as well. There's practically no time between pregnancy and egg! |

When you say it affects other breeds too, then maybe this really is what you should try first. Set the time back to normal and see if it gets better.

I actually have had this problem too, where I had super breeders that had...super breeders. I eventually just had to delete the world because it got to the point that my eggs were sitting there not hatching because I had too many creatures. A lot of them lived for a long time, too.
Sorry I don't have better advice. I believe this is a gene that seems to happen with the Bloom Norns as that appeared to be the line that had the most "activity" but since by the end they were just all getting with each other, I can't be sure. |

I stand corrected. the other breeds (at least the harlequin breed, which is the only other one I tested) are stable. At least I think they're stable.
They've calmed down a bit at the very least. |

It won't address the root cause of the problem, but are some population control agents you might find useful:
