Norns constantly repeat X likes Y | |

Hi, I wasn't posting for a long time and now I decided to reinstall the Steam version of C3.
So the problem is that in undocked C3 world I installed a bunch of mods and now adult Norns, who learnt all words from Knowledge stone, are CONSTANTLY babbling phrases "X likes Y" and get responds "Y dislike X" and it repeats every second. Even adding Ettins to this cacophony makes Ettin repeat this behaviour and after moving Ettins to the Desert makes them same noisy as Norns, repeating words of love and hate.
Maybe it's some feature of 2017 breeds: I hatched 2017 Bengal, Siamese, Harlequin and Mojo norns. Mojo and Bengal norns are seem to repeat words more than other breeds.
I didn't add any other agents altering biochemistry or brains, Ettins are also 2017. I don't remember such repetitiveness in older runs of C3.
Thanks in advance! |

Pretty common problem with CFE genomes and others based on them. You might want to check out this topic and see if there's anything useful in it. |

Vermidia actually made a fix for this exact problem! You can find it in the downloads right here |

Thank you very much for help! I'll try this with CFE based norns. |

To give an explanation, the reason why this happens is because the engine prompts a creature to give its opinion on another creature, and when other creatures hear this opinion, they have a one in seven chance of not saying their own opinion in response. This is a problem for ALL creatures, but a particular problem with creatures using the CFE brain because vanilla creatures forget their opinions when they sleep, which is something that CFE fixed.
This was probably not considered a problem when the games first came out because players weren't expected to have so many norns around at the same time. I also highly recommend using Vermidia's fix for this issue.
