So, I got my hands on Creatures the albian years on GOG, and I´m still at a loss on where to begin. I´m a first-time player and not very familiar with the game. -Where can I find decent guides about tips and gameplay? - How do I install and have it run properly? I heard you need to some tweaks, so it will work. ( I use windows 10 by the way) - Are there any interesting breeds/mods do you recommend? ( I plan on starting with creatures 1, and maybe 2 eventually) I would appreciate it if someone could help me. Thanks in advance. |

The Injector installed might be the original one, which you will need to update. The Health Kit may need you to run the game as an administrator for it to work. http://geatville.uk/ has a lot of mods you can download, including Creatures objects (COBs) and even new worlds. You may wish to download the black hole patch, the bridge and the parsnips at a minimum. The most interesting new breed that has been released recently are the Midgard Norns, with some brain structures from C2 in their heads. They come with improved food items that don't confuse creatures. My TCR Norns |
