What does "expressive"-breed mean? | |

What title says.
I've never really understood what it means/does. And after browsing the wiki today and learning that "some Pippin Norns are expressive, making them look rather hideous (in some people's opinions)", I've decided to just finally ask; Considering it apparently does something I've been missing for years now lmao

It means the breed can make facial expressions.
I'm not sure about Adventures/Village, but when Creatures 3 was originally released the creatures' faces were permanently locked to one expression. A patch fixed this in the form of "expressive" variants, which is where the term came from.
