Well... Go to your docking station directory, and create a new folder called Creature Galleries.
If one is already there, you should go into the machine.cfg file and put this line:
"Creature Database Directory" "Creature Galleries"
after the line:
"Catalogue Directory" Catalogue
If that doesn't work, I would save all my important stuff like genomes, agents etc. in a different folder, and reinstall DS. then copy all the files back in. |

I like how we both figured this out at the same time.
Nevertheless, thanks. Weirdass error, though -- I haven't touched that folder, and I don't remember the folders that the error wanted me to add even BEING there before... |

That'll teach you for not investigating your PC's layout at every opportunity.
The folders were there, yes, and sometimes things have a tendency to just screw up.
But really, all you lost are the images that you took of your creatures and your world and username and password settings. So in the end it isn't that bad. |

Since this problum is fixed, I have a problum of my own:
I once installed DS, and then Edynn. Everything was fine until one day I axedintally pressed the "yes" button on the opening thing. (Where it asks you if you want an upgrade). I could never get DS to work again, even when I uninstalled it. I keep getting an error message.
Do not upset the ugly worm, lest it be a dragon in disguise. (>oo)>

Probably a problem with a registry value or something. Without your computer and further investigation, I wouldn't be able to help you. |
