Help Forum Gen.Edit Inst. + JRChat    Tonjevic     8/16/2006 Two things: 1. I am wanting to start tinkering with genetics, as most aspiring creatures players most likely would, and so, following the metaphorical trail of breadcrumbs, I came to download the genetics editor from the CDN. Downloading the installation file into my docking station directory, I immediately started it up. After a short wait, the installer came up and I was ready to start installing it. I went through the EULA and specified my installation directory, told it that, yes, it COULD, in fact, create the folder, and then clicked next and... It broke. An error message popped up stating the following: "An error occured during the move data process: -113 Component: File Group: File: C:\DOCUME~1\USER\LOCALS~1\Temp\WZSE5.TMP\data1.hdr" That error has come up every time I have tried to install it. On a side note (not that I expected the file to be there), but when I navigated to the directory specified by the error only the temporary file for the installer itself was there, and not data1.hdr Any ideas? EDIT: Fixed! 2. I haven't been able to access the JRChat for the last couple of days, neither by the JRChat client on the wiki, or JRNet. I ask because the status of the server is "UP", according to the JRChat page, but various people who I have directed to the page have not been able to connect either. I also went to lummoxjr.com, and found that there was no site there. Has the server been changed or something, because I would like to be able to access it. EDIT: This, however, is still a problem. Nine times have I been told im crazy and ten times I have accepted it.   Tonjevic     8/22/2006 It's a custom chat protocol specifically designed for the Creatures community, and in any case, it's come back online. You can try downloading the JRNet client from somewhere. You'll find a link in the cwiki.
