Im Wondering about genetic editors, sprite editors, and where to get them!I mostly just want to work on pose... ...PLEASE HELP! Nine times have I been told im crazy and ten times I have accepted it. |

I posted this in another one of your topics.  Look at the CDN site (Can't remember link) and download the spirte converter program, and the Gene editor. I dunno much about pose however. Not really active around these parts anymore. |

Doesn't it have a documentation? You should be able to find some help on the CDN. That's what it's for. I'm not sure that the CDN has a C1 gene editor, though. Spritebuilder works for all three games. I haven't worked with nornpose in a very long time, so I'll leave someone else to help you with that... |

Yeah. Spritebuilder is the program that you actually open the sprites with. link The CDN doesn't have any posing applications I'm aware of, though -- Wasn't C1 nornpose on Lummox's site? I'm not sure if that's even still up. |

Uhh, no. I'm fairly certain it'll open C2 sprites too, since I just did. I'm having some difficulty getting it to open C1 .spr files (just shows blank sprites), but I know it's possible. Maybe wrong program... Or wrong palette, or something. If you'd just said you were wanting to make a breed first off, this would've been a lot easier. |

C2 uses the S16 image format, which is also used in C3/DS for various things (including Creature pictures, as I've discovered). So SpriteBuilder can handle them. However, C1 SPR files are another bucket of fish entirely, and SpriteBuilder won't work with them. Instead, you need the BoBCoB sprite editor- it can do what you want. Im getting C2 in 2 weeks, I got it from EBAY. It seems getting breeding tools for C2 is alot simpler. I also love c2 sprites. 3D style of C3/DS makes norns look chubby, and grendles look like stuffed animals. Gotta-love 'em! Nine times have I been told im crazy and ten times I have accepted it. |

Thanks for the editor suggestions, C2 is WAY easier to get programmes for but I prefer C3 sprites because the C2 ones scare me a bit. They look almost... monkeyish. I hate the toes! Still cute though |

Does anyone have suggestions about the breed im working on? There caled virtua norns, there suposed to have long legs, be able to sprint at higher speeds and possibly jump.(still not so shure how ill make those ones work) they look like pixie norns with there hair swept backward, and have extra-strong sight. Maybe you could make several different versions? Like one that is red and can emmit a lot of heat, and one that is blue that can breathe underwater, so on and so on. Do not upset the ugly worm, lest it be a dragon in disguise. (>oo)> |
