Actually I'm beginning to agree with AquaShee- once they had specialness, and only were to people who've earned it- now it seems on occasion people can just pop up and ask. -Karias; a bit fruity and gone bananas in the wrong climate!  |

Actually I'm beginning to agree with AquaShee- once they had specialness, and only were to people who've earned it- now it seems on occasion people can just pop up and ask. Well, to be honest, I never understood why the titles weren't customizable to begin with. Maybe if I'd figured out how to earn one last year, I'd understand the whole situation better....  I'm sure Rascii had his reasons, though. I didn't mind not having one last time around, because in the long run, having a custom title isn't that important. I just grabbed one today because I figured that as long as they were being granted freely, I might as well take advantage of it. You have to be honest with yourself when you are writing. If that leads to somewhere unexpected then perhaps you really needed to go there. -- Jim Adkins |

*me prods Rascii* Can I?... No. I agree that titles should be special, not asked for, and granted by an admin under his own volition. When you can just have distiguishing marks given out, they lose thier specialness. |

But- the funniest thing of all I guess, is how everyone asks the one admin, the one.. person.. here, who isn't around very much at all- and when their title appears they think Rasc suddenly came in under a second and waved the magical and only "title wand" or something. -Karias; a bit fruity and gone bananas in the wrong climate! |

Yes but- even you agreed- titles are special things of reason. You are, indeed, a member who causes no problem in my eyes so far- but I don't see much from you other than RP participation.. I'll have to think more on it, but perhaps another mod might think differently.. *shrugs*. Patience is the key.  On a side note- you never mentioned the name of the title. -Karias; a bit fruity and gone bananas in the wrong climate! |

How about we rob everyone of their title (yes, even you!) and start all over? Once you deserve a title, a moderator will give you one that he or she thinks fits (or just call you 'Untitled') and from then on you'll be able to request a change of title if you like. That way, titles will be special again, and you can be proud of having one. The Community Scribble: make (y)our own metaroom! |

It's very fair. Everyone loses their title, and gets one when they've truly earned it. So once you have a fair number of good, constructive posts to your name, you may find a shiny title under your Icon one day. (And that doesn't mean postcount!) The Community Scribble: make (y)our own metaroom! |

Oh, Karias, The title request by me was a joke. I was indulging in a little hipocrisy. And regarding participation: I have made several agents now, and am designing a website for my creatures stuff. That, And I have resolved never to post in an RP again.... Wicked things... |
