Have something ready for the CCSF 2013 already? Ghosthande and I are pleased to announce that submissions are now open! Virtually anything Creatures-related is acceptable for the CCSF, ranging from breeds, agents/COBs and metarooms to stories, poems, and images! Let your creativity and love of the game guide you! We have lots of fun planned for this year: Don't miss out on your chance to be a part of this important annual event, starting on November 1st! Please send all submissions to ccsf (at) creaturescommunity {dot} com PLEASE PLAN TO SUBMIT ANY RELEASES BY OCTOBER 28, 2013 SUBMISSION FORM (BREEDS, AGENTS, COBS, METAROOMS, ETC.) Author(s): Release's Title: Game (C1, C2, C3, DS): Type (Agent, breed, COB, metaroom, etc.): Short Description (One or two sentences): Long Description: Special Requirements (Dependencies, issues, etc.): Please make sure to attach any necessary file(s), along with a Readme and image(s), if possible. Compressed .rar or .zip files are preferred. Thanks! Note that descriptions and/or preview images may be changed for the releases, but every effort will be made to use the original information. SUBMISSION FORM (STORIES, POEMS, IMAGES, VIDEOS, ETC.) Author(s): Release's Title: Type (Story, poem, image, video, etc.): Short Description (One or two sentences): Long Description: Videos should not be attached: YouTube is recommended for authors to host these, although uploads may be delayed until the actual release date. If you mean a breed you've already released, then I personally would see it as kinda pointless. I guess there's nothing stopping you, though. On another note, I don't know if I'll get out those four breeds I keep promising myself, but at the very least there will be a metaroom release from me if all goes well. Ideally, all CCSF submissions should be brand new and previously unreleased. Posting previews or having discussions about releases prior to the CCSF is fine, but anything that has already been released would likely not fit in as well. However, that doesn't mean that you couldn't do something related to a breed that's already been released! Maybe you end up with a really interesting genetic mutation after a few generations and want to share those. Or perhaps you have a story/image in mind related the breed? Like Grendel Man said, there's nothing stopping someone from submitting something that's already been released, but it's very much preferred that everything submitted to the CCSF be brand new and previously unreleased. I look forward to whatever you have to submit, Grendel Man! Even "just" a metaroom release from you sounds awesome! |

Don't forget to send in your submissions soon! Only a few more weeks to go. Remember that anything Creatures-related is welcome, and each person may submit as much as he/she likes! Quality is preferred over quantity, although the whole point is to allow the community to celebrate together. Did you know that this is the tenth anniversary of the CCSF? Only a few more days until the submission deadline! I know of some last minute or late submissions, but hopefully there are some more secret projects out there! We also have just one week until the CCSF 2013 begins on November 1st! Make sure to mark your calendars and check out the daily releases. This is a time to celebrate Creatures and the community we've created and fostered for so long. Don't miss out on our big annual event! What size should the pictures be for a breed? 140x140 like CCaves submissions? |

Actually, they should be 120x150, as the 140x140 images get resized. Part of the coordination team's job is creating preview images, though, so a picture mostly gives us an idea of what to expect. You're more than welcome to include a 120x150 image, though, as that will most likely be used for the actual download! |

Thanks, Laura. Yes: Please follow all instructions in the first post. Submissions should not be posted publicly, as this sort of spoils the surprise! It's also much easier for us to keep track of what's been submitted and work on the schedule. Note: Since you've already posted the updated link on the Creatures USB page, Norn_master, I'm going to assume that this is not a CCSF release. At least it's ready ahead of time, though! |

There is no time: We'll be accepting late submissions! But if you plan on sending in something later on, please contact me via PM letting me know. We'll then know to expect something else. The absolute latest for submissions is October 31st (unless you've already spoken to me). Hope that helps! Thanks! |
