They've been collected! After a successful first survey, the community was asked to vote on a specific theme for the CCSF 2013 and share any other theme ideas. The first survey consisted of 50 responses, while this second survey gathered 48 responses. Excellent numbers! Five main themes were listed, with the following breakdown of responses: Ecology: 46% Classic Creatures: 19% Steampunk: 15% Sphericus: 15% Genetics: 6% There isn't an obvious "correct" choice for a theme, but the coordination team will be working behind-the-scenes to develop a theme based on these responses. We're likely going to find a way to incorporate most of these aspects, although ecology and classic Creatures will certainly be given priority! Hopefully most agree that there isn't truly a way to go wrong with a CCSF theme. As the main coordinator, Darby will likely be the main person sharing news in the future. Rest assured that the coordination team (Darby, Ghosthande, Laura, and myself) have been discussing the details already. I imagine there will be news related to the CCSF 2013 coming this July! In the meantime, make sure to mark your calendars for the first two weeks in November! |

Yeah, this is great! I would say, though, that Ecology seems like a kind-of-sort-of winner. How about making that the "umbrella" theme, and branch it out into Classical Creatures and other sub-themes? |

We're working on tying in several of these themes together, with ecology and classic Creatures being the main focus. I'm sure we'll end up with something for everyone! |

That'll sure be something for me, at least. I would be so thrilled if Albian ReGenesis could get some sort of release ready for the CCSF. Would fall JUST in line with the theme, however you decide to shape it. I'm so thrilled about this! |

I'm thrilled at the choice of themes we have this year.  To echo Jessica, thank you to everyone who took the time to fill out the second survey! With 'Ecology' and 'Classic Creatures' being the main focus, I'm already mega-excited to see what everyone can come up with for releases; it should be a very interesting and creative one! |
