Thanks Laura. However, I did have a bit of a problem with Vimto's right hand: the string that was used to keep his fingers in shape came loose and I had to cut it off, but beside that, he's fine. |

It turns out I ordered my norndoll to the wrong address. Duhh. I got to see my sister open the little fellow on webcam today. I didnt say was it was, other than that it would remind her of being small. The surprise nostalgia on her face was priceless! The official Norndolls very (very) occasionally appear on eBay. Don recently wrote a tutorial on How to Make a Norndoll, so you could always try making your own. You can also find more templates, plus see the Norndolls other people have made, via the Creatures Wiki. |

I am not aware of anyone actually selling any of their handmade Norndolls currently. I'm guessing they're too precious! From what I've seen, making your own Norndoll can be very fun and rewarding, it just takes practice... and maybe some help from your parents. I'm definitely going to give it go myself one day; I like the idea of a Norndoll being unique and worth more to me because I made it. |

If I can get a camra working... I also am making one light blue one for my brother. I just bought alot of fabric to use on making more because hey, Practice makes near perfect! Aww. Now people are making me blush... Now Laura I must say that one norn took me around 23 hours, Not all in a row though, It took me a period spread between two days. on one day I only traced Don's wonderful templates and the next, I got up, Worked on my norn, ate breakfast, Worked on my norn, ate lunch, Worked on my norn, Ate dinner, Worked on my norn, brushed my teeth, Worked on my norn and then went to bed. Yay! He was done. I kept on geting confused and messing up my thread, then the spool rolled under the couch and the stiches were loose so I hed to redo them. I laughed when I saw the words in Dons very good manual " you will be ataching the tummy to the body in a minute." In my case that would be 5 hours ! Aww, I think they're cute, Mousienorn. I never would have thought to make a doll based on watermelon colors, but it looks very nice. I'd really like to try my hand at one of these; I have to finish another plushie I'm working on right now, but once I get that out of the way I might start a norn doll of my own next month. ARG! Lower prices please! It's so mean I want a (oficial) norndoll so stinking bad! But 30 DOLLARS! He must know that people like me exist that would rip out their tounge for a norndoll.
