I'd love to see what you come up with!   Caves Dweller Rascii Administrator     1/18/2013 Week 3 Results Laura and FlyingEttiNorn have been voted off the island. They are currently boarding the official Survivor: Arctic submarine and will be home safely in no time. Week three was quite an eventful week on the island, helped by the exciting polar bear cub saving assignment. And following a day of heavy snowfall, we had lovely cloudy day today on the island, with lows around 10 degrees (F) / 0 degrees (C). Additionally, contest 2 turned out much better than the first. The following users failed the contest by not attempting to rescue a polar bear cub: - Laura - FlyingEttiNorn The following users successfully passed the contest and posted about saving polar bear cubs in their journals: - c1anddsaddict - Bearthing - mea - Panda-mist Be sure to tune into Grendel Man's MIAB column for more details on the polar bear (mis)adventures. And congratulations to these four creatures! They were the star players this week. The week 4 poll is now open. I have a feeling that competition will be getting fierce this week. If they had still been on Panda, Mea/Borgetta wouldn't have removed them from her other than to dry them by the fire. I wonder if the micro grendels might pay a quick visit again? Panda, the little pack of foxes are still near by, wouldn't it be interesting if they could become attached to a norn that is nice to them & help keep them warm & not so lonely? Up to you if you see them & interact with them. If any of you happen to be online at the same time & want to have your norns/grendel interact with each other a bit before the results of the vote are posted, feel free to have Mea/Borgetta help get them together. I need to get to sleep for work now. I'm just trying to have things set up to deal with the results of this weeks voting. Whomever gets voted off, I hope I'm ready for it.   Caves Dweller Rascii Administrator     1/25/2013 Week 4 Results I'm sorry to announce that Bearthing and Panda-mist have been voted off the island. They are currently boarding the official Survivor: Arctic helicopter. I'm sure they're excited about going home and escaping the arctic cold, but it's a bittersweet trip. We're all going to miss them and their adventures on Survivor: Arctic. We are now down to the FINAL TWO contestants: mea and c1anddsaddict (in no particular order). The final winner will be announced on Friday, February 1st, which will also mark the end of Survivor: Arctic. As the island continues to melt away due to global warming (which began in Monday's contest), c1anddsaddict is headed home. Congrats on making it to the final round, though! You did an amazing job. And congratulations to our winner, mea! She will be receiving her official Survivor: Arctic grand prize shortly. Thank you to all of the contestants for playing! "Based on cutting-edge Shee research into antigravity and anti-brain freeze technologies, this machine is guaranteed to vend the perfect ice cream cone every time! No more spills, no more lost ice cream, and no more headaches! Dropping different ingredients into the funnel will result in different-looking ice cream cones. If you wish to remove an ingredient after adding it, just pick up the machine and drop it. It will dump its contents. There are a total of ten basic colors of ice cream (though you may discover a way to unlock many more), and seven special styles. Both colors and other effects may be derived from specific ingredients. Creatures 3 players have access to nine of these ingredients; those who play C3/DS will have access to all eighteen. Thanks for letting me beta test!   Chaotic Spriter mea     2/3/2013 Sorry it took so long to respond, but weekends tend to be more hectic for me than weekdays currently. I didn't really have time until today to install & start playing with the ice cream machine. Definitely having fun with it, haven't hatched or imported any creatures yet to start eating the ice cream that is now scattered all around the meso. Never had the chance to play with the quirky cookie machine, so I've always wanted to play with something similar to it. So I really am getting a kick out of this ice cream machine. I wonder if new recipes could be added to it? I wonder if eventually there will be a tea machine that works in a similar way?
