Development Forum R.E.B.I (Fully updated)    scoota94      1/21/2010 I, just for fun, want to make a new "lifeform"! Well its going to be a robot created by the shee in thier steps to create gaia! I was wondering if anyone would want to help me make sprites? I have got a design in mind but I am no good at making sprites So anyone? By the way R.E.B.I stands for receptive emittive bionic intelligence! P.S. can creatures in a geat slot be selected? And I think they can be selected.   scoota94   1/21/2010 If not then I could just put in Norn or something Also sam999 I unfortunately don't own C3 but maybe if I do good in my prelims my mum will give me it as a little reward I might make it for C1 aswell though not sure. Depends if I get a sprite artist willing to help EDIT: ok sam! How bout I send you my design and you could try make a sprite? Don't be worried about who is right, Just follow you heart...   sam999     1/21/2010 I will help with sprites and a backstory as long as you also alow a C3DS type of R.E.B.I. to be made if anyone wants to do so. I'm not sure if 'bartering' skills for the rights to ideas is something we want to encourage. EDIT:Ok this is a final edit! I am going to do this robot for creatures 1 and creatures 2! EDIT2: The concept art has been posted in the fan art gallery EDIT3: Well I thought I would post the features of R.E.B.I! 1-He will require food, as you know the shee ark requires bioenergy and R.E.B.I utilizes starch to create electrical energy! In the creatures 2 version he will use starch for the creation of ATP, fat for oil for his parts, and protien to burn for electrical energy! 2-His parts are damaged by hotness! If hotness gets too high he may malfunction! If he does he could go on a major creature killing rampage or deactivate! 3-He can deactivate if hotness or coldness gets too high! If he deactivates he is cannot do anything! When deactivated he recovers from the problem 4-He will have a bulb on his head. If the bulb is green he is ok, if it is yellow, there may be a problem, if it is red then the problem is dire! If the light is off he is either deactivated or dead! 5-If he is slapped it will deactivate him, if he is tickled it will activate him Please note that deactivate and sleep or two different things 6-He has a defense system! If a creature hits him he will hit back! 7-If he goes underwater he will evetually die! He does not need oxygen but underwater his body will fill up with water!
