I was wondering if it is possible to increase the size of the chem list as I am currently working on a project that needs a large amount of chemicals! I know you can use the empty slots but I need more! Can anyone help?

In the genome, you could change the function of some of the currently-used chemicals - for example, in the aquanorns (with aquanorn swimming agent), the chemical Arnica (found in Peaking Pies) permits them to swim.

Not a bad idea, I might do that but I would prefer to somehow expand the list because I want to distribute this genome and I want chemicals to be realistic! (sorry have a touch of OCD)

Well, what's your experimental genome going to be like? I would suggest that you base your edits on the CFE breeds by Vampess, as they're a big improvement on the original genome.

I don't want to say too much but I am actually creating a creature from scratch! This is scheduled to take about a year! So I can't use exsisting genomes but thanks for the suggestion.

So anyone out there know if its possible to get a bigger chemical list?

I am not sure if that is even possible without smashing a bunch of files into millions of pieces.
Even if would everybody need all the files you altered to get the breed working.
I think you really should take some existing chemicals as Malkin said.
Hey, you said you do it from the scratch? Wow, some gengineers try it when they are new and fail terribly, but I don't know how good you are, so I wish you good luck! That should also make the existing-chem-idea easier.

Looks like I will have to... But I won't let that stop me! The reason it is going to take a year is because I want to contribute to the CCSF 10! By the way anyone wanna test the first release (this will be next year probably in summer) And thanks for the help! P.S. Do you think the development forum would be good for discussing help for this genome?
