Since I've been learning C++, and noticing the connections to CAOS, I decided to try and take up CAOS programming, starting with making a couple of agents from the "agent idea" section on the Creatures Wiki. I need help. I'm making that fox toy thingamagus, and I tried looking at the tutorial on Creatures Development, and it's not working at all. In fact I think it crashed my DS, but I can't be sure because I just installed DS on this laptop and it usually gets weird on initial installation. So can anyone, say, give me a basic toy agent and some tips for the future? Thanks so much. Do not upset the ugly worm, lest it be a dragon in disguise. (>oo)> |

I've looked around for a generic toy, and all I can find is the robot toy, which is too far gone for a beginner like me to edit. ![:\](/images/smilies/confused.gif ":\") Do not upset the ugly worm, lest it be a dragon in disguise. (>oo)> |

This is probably going to sound somewhat dumb, but... have you tried the CAOS Chaos tutorials? Granted they're about making a food not a toy, but the basic principle is the same. That "metamorphosing toy tutorial" I wrote may also be of some help, since it does include the basics of making a toy. At the very least you can compare the two against each other.  |
