Everyone runs their wolfling runs a little bit differently.
With this in mind, what agents and other tricks do you find most useful in your runs? Do you use Emmental's panels to keep the genepool clean? Do you abuse the tombstoner? (hurhur looking at myself) |

I like Vampess's fixes - they all help the world become more balanced. I don't really wolfling run a lot - I prefer feral runs, because I can interfere more.

Yeah, Feral Runs are good.
I always have kind of an 18+ area in my world. I like to drop a Cupids Lyre there when I am going to leave my creatures alone.
Yes, I know that results in billions of eggs, but I like billions of eggs.

I,ve still never done a wolfing run.
I only use official breeds. And the dream, flora and butterfly.
All those norns are allways aging very slow. |

I set up the world, injecting the norngarden and other usefuls, then hatch a bunch of pairs of norns, always 2 male, 2 female. i take care of them normally for 2 or 3 generation, then i put a challenge such as stinking stumps in the hub for 2 generations, the another challenge, such as a bubonicfor 2 gen, then i hatch a pair of banshees, plant botanoids in the workshop, leave all doors unlocked, and leave. I come back about 2-6 hours later, weed out try to weed out all fastagers, repeat until im bored of that world. this is my "evil run", and the norns that result are usually quite tough.

My wolfing runs, well, here's what I get in the end:
1. ATLEAST 1+ norn(s) that are addicted to the learning (You could call them drug addicts, or learning heads!)
2. The dumb norns who die from starvation (The smart ones, whom are already addicted to the learning machine, hog it, so, starving, dumb, norns)
3. 1-2 norns who end up having babies all the time, or as often as possible
4. Norns that complain too much
5. Well, they all die out, very soon, and one thing is, well, the smart ones, don't eat often, as they're that addicted!
It's sad/fun to watch!
EDIT: I thought of a great new wolfing run idea:
The diet run/bulleamic run(The eating disorder where you puke what you eat)!
The diet run, well, when the norns are young, you tempt them with fatty foods, and them hit them whenever they take a bite, and if they keep eating it, keep spanking! Hopefully, we'll get funny results!

Would probably end up in norns with low need for food or, what has a much higher chance, or in very dead norns, but I think you should try it.

I hadn't done a wolfling in several months, so this prompted me to start one. Typically, I add Terra, Terra Reborn, and Norngarden1 since I work in DS only and like a bigger world for the norns to roam. This time I also used the CoC Rooms, and the Canopy Alpha. I inject the autonamer and the DS Plantpack 1. This time, I also added the Lensis, Inkras, and Okiron butterflies, just for the heck of it, and three other plants from what I believe was another plantpack by Prime. Then, I pretty much let it run, but this particular run I've decided to accept warp norns. If anyone wants to send to me, I believe my DS name is also rainbowcat1.

I just read the definitions of Wolf run, and feral run.
It seems what I do is more considered in the field of feral runs, it's hard not for me to intervene!
Papriko, maybe we should discuss methods of norn torture, say, in a pm?
