Okay, Im trying to change pigments on norns and as soon as the norns hit adolesent, all the colors but red revert back to normal! Its really annoying! Does anyone know a fix for this? I cant figure ity out.... I spent the last two days trying to....

Norns have two sets of colour genes - ones that kick in at babyhood and ones that kick in at adolescence. You need to have them all changed to create colours.

^ Yes.

Also there are separate male and female pigment genes too if I remember right, so make sure those equal each other as well or the colors may vary according to gender. I don't -think- you actually need to change them at all though, but if you start getting color differences in that sense it's worth a look.

I know that. I triple checked it and the green and blue kept reverting back to 128!

It just refuses to work. I even maxed out all the values for all the pigments and the color still reverted back except for the red which remained at 255.

I can send the genetics file to anyone who wants to look at it, but all the pigments are correct.... I checked it over at least 5 times.

Im so confused right now. x.x

Assuming it's Docking Station you're using:

When all of a norn's pigments are set to 1 lifestage, it keeps the color from that lifestage onwards. However, if another group of pigments comes in at a later lifestage, the game switches over to those, no matter how few they may be.

So, the most likely solution to your issue: Set all of the pigments to turn on at "Embryo".

If that doesn't work, I have no clue what went wrong.

Thank you!!! That worked!

There were two red pigments set for adolescents, but I switched them to embryo, like you siad, and now it works! Thank you!

Thats the only thing that has gone right all week. x.x;
