Please help, I have taken a look at your CAOS Chaos, it is very easy to understand and I would love to use it.
But there is one problem, when I go to download "EasyPRAY" it says it is no longer there or has been moved.
Then it takes me to a search site that tells me nothing.
So, if it is not too much trouble, could you please try to fix this? |

Is that a permanent link that I can put in the CAOS Chaos article, ES?
Sorry the link didn't work, Crystaldragon. I thought I had tested them all.

Ah, I think I see what happened - the link goes to an archived version of Tina Hirsch's home page, but she had hosted easyPRAY on sourceforge - so the archived link tries to go to sourceforge, but can't, because of their robots.txt file. oops.
There's also this link, which links to all of the easyPRAY releases, but we might have to put a note to 'just get the zip file if you're not sure!'... thoughts?

Who created it? Can I host it here at CC.com?

Tina Hirsch, and possibly Meikel Brandmeyer and fuzzie may have had a hand in its creation. The last update of the easyPRAY website was in 2003, with a "development stalled" message, with no real word about rehosting permissions.
There may be a clause in the license easyPRAY is under about rehosting, if we can't manage to get direct word from any of the developers.

Actually EasyPRAY is under the GNU GPL, which says that it's free to "distribute to your friends and neighbors." I'd think doing it on a larger scale (i.e. hosting it) wouldn't be much of a problem. |
