General Forum Featured Creature, REBORN!   1 | 2 Jacob      9/17/2006 Hey everyone, do you remember "Featured Creature"? Well if you said "No, whats that?" to that question, Featured Creature is basicly a featured CC.com member, it could even be you! But... here is how this works. You nominate people to be the featured creature for doing something for the community, or for just being cool. Only 10 people can be nominated at one time! After 10 people have been nominated, someone makes a poll. The person with the highest amount of votes after a week is then the Featured Creature. They get a topic dedicated to themselves, and members can ask the questions, after a while the topic is locked, and then a new nomination round begins! So what are you waiting for? Start nominating! He certainly has his share of "official" projects, but often he's behind the scenes and not outfront with his name on stuff. He's everywhere in the community, helping here and there where he can. Practically everything that gets done in the CC has its share of his input. I really think he and Don (already nominated) are the singel two most active, vital members in the CC.   KnyteTrypper     9/17/2006 And if I can make a second nomination, I'd also like to nominate Malkin. Like Liam, she's behind the scenes helping and encouraging a lot more often than most people know, and all she seems to want from it is the satisfaction of seeing the community thrive. There are a lot of noteworthy people in the CC. Liam's name is on a lot of stuff. It's a bit more obvious how deserving he is, and so quite likely someone else will nominate him (hint, hint). Also because, like malkin, he is very encouraging to new CC members and maintains his own website. His website hosts some of the best genetic breeds out there, and has an incredibly up to date database of websites, breeds and all sorts.
