That's why your backup team of assistant co-ordinators will be on hand to help if you are the main co-ordinator! If Jessica still wants to do the preliminary survey, perhaps you can both do it together? That way you can ask Jessica if you have any questions.  |

I'm up for anything! I was hoping to do the preliminary survey, just to carry through with what I had promised from last year. Feel free to PM me Lily, and I would be happy to work together with you! I think the preliminary survey usually just entails very basic information: We've typically had at least one or two more to nail down more details. |

Thanks Jessica I'm sure more people will make agents and such if given the chance! ^^ If it weren't for the help section, I wouldn't be making breeds at all, myself... O_O; I might be clever with cheating my way into mythical types, but I still know too little about genetics and such to make a complete breed by myself! Making things can be crazy and a bit overwhelming, especially when you're starting out- but it's definitely fun, and much easier with help! I hope more people can enjoy the tiny victories of making their own things this year! With C4 coming, many new faces have expressed interest; they just need a little support to take the first step. PS: Sorry for being totally off subject with your important role and responsibilities conversation! I didn't mean to interrupt or change the subject, I just wanted to put that point out before I forgot again! I'm not sure what I'll contribute to this year's CCSF. The last two I've been involved with took quite a lot of effort, so I think I might create some artwork instead! |

Just a quick reminder to everyone to fill out the CCSF 2013 Survey! This will be closing on about June 1st, so don't forget to share your thoughts and opinions. We have over 40 responses so far, but every single vote is helpful! Results will be posted shortly after the survey closes, at which time it will be determined if another more detailed survey will be necessary. |

Not sure if anyone here will remember me, but I'm back! Studying to be a nurse has completely buried me, and I've just now had some time to breath this summer! I just filled out the CCSF Survey and I'm brainstorming about either making a new breed or revamping one of my old projects to release for this years festival. I'm excited to be back |

The survey is now closed! We received a total of 50 responses, which will be very helpful in figuring out everything. Results will be publicly posted within the next day, and then we'll take it from there! Thanks to everyone who participated and shared their ideas! |

No worries, Pankypie! There will be plenty of opportunities to participate and contribute in different ways. I think one possibility for this year is to have lots of ideas out there early on: Perhaps teasers for the activities/puzzles, challenges released well ahead of time, and a list of ideas for development. I'm sure you'll find a way to contribute: We'll make sure there are opportunities for people with all different sorts of skills and interests with Creatures! |

Hoping discussion is still allowed As part of getting back into the community, I plan on joining this year. Similar to last time, its highly unlikely I'll be making anything. I plan on mostly writing, maybe some art. Since the theme seems to be Ecology, it'll be fun writing. Maybe I could try to come up with stories to accompany people's creations... EDIT: If themes are mixed, I personally would love to see some sort of steampunk ecology I saw the Zeppelin Grendels concepts from last year, and loved the concept, of concepts hehe. I mean, Sam999 didn't have the intent to make them a species, but gave people the option to. I would love to draft up the concepts for a Steampunk Metaroom with an ecosystem and such, and I love the Idea Phase of things, but rarely manage to get past that hehe. beep |

Yeah - Likely the same on this end, I found a few "projects" (read; horrible ideas on a word document) on my old harddisk and felt quite nostalgic, so I'm thinking about the possibility of actually making something for the CCSF this year. Not really active around these parts anymore. |

You're both just a tad bit early, but I do believe we should have an announcement regarding CCSF submissions coming up within the next week! Everything will be welcome, as with last year: Hopefully everyone will be able to participate in some way or another. Only about two months to go! |
