With Hayate's passing I find it now appropriate to state an absence for awhile. I need to get mentally and financially prepared for school among other things. I have not a clue how long it'll be though, maybe just a week. Or maybe two. Either way, you won't be seeing much from me for a bit! So, farewell amigos. I hope to get back to here soon. |

I've been sort of in and out lately. My mom has a herniated disc in her neck, so I've taken over her millions of chores in her house. My brother and dad are men, which should explain it all! I'm also a bit unmotivated to play Creatures at the moment, which is quite normal: I always return after a week or two with a new zest to play like never before! My activity will likely be very intermittent over the next two weeks. Labyrinthia will be cared for in the meantime: I should be around every couple of days, but my normal way of responding to a lot should be very much diminished. I'll be back in full force soon enough! Good luck with everything, Draggy: Perhaps we'll both be back around the same time! |

This is going to be a very short absence, but I'm going on a sleepover to my best friend's house today and she doesn't happen to have my Creatures games. Fortunately, though, I let her play a different C2 file when she was here last and she fell in love with it... going to get her the GOG games as a late Christmas present. Hello everyone! Not sure if yall still remember me, I think I've been gone for a year or two and I'm not sure if I'm back to stay. It might feel like longer to me than it really was... I'm not sure why I nearly disappeared but lately I've been really wanting to get back into the Creatures series. Quick heads-up for next week, so you don't wonder where I've gone! I've been working through a book called "How to train a wild elephant" which contains various exercises to develop mindfulness. The next one on the list is a week's media fast - zero consumption of media or entertainment. So: no random internet, no news, no reading (except for work), no music, no computer games, no forums. If I can do it, it should have the secondary effect of increasing creativity (because if you're not consuming other people's stuff, you're more likely to make your own. In theory.) I have no idea if I can do this, but (if it works) I'll be absent all next week. Francesco is set to follow his ancestors tomorrow night, so I'll have no excuse! |
