| Grendel Man says: "Artemia Sea is a large saltwater metaroom based upon the tank from the Amazing Virtual Sea Monkeys inspired by similar efforts by Nornenmeister and Clohse. Despite its base it's not much of a Sea Monkeys room at all; it's more of a place for swimming creatures to call home and hopefully has everything they need to live happy lives. Much of the flora and fauna within comes from Creatures 1, Creatures 2, or the Amazing Virtual Sea Monkeys, though there's also a few unique organisms swimming around in there...."

There isn't an entrance/exit. I don't remember exactly why I didn't give it one if I had a reason at all, but as it is the room's almost entirely underwater and so non-amphibious/gilled creatures would drown if they entered.
You'll need a separate door agent if you want them to be able to access the room on their own, but if it's just getting them in there that's the problem you can simply pick them up (shift + right click) and scroll to the room (mouse wheel or page up/down), at least if you're playing DS.

This is maybe a dumb question but how do creatures access this room? I can't for the life of me find the entrance/exit lol

This room is not actually hot at all and is in fact cold by TWB/TCB standards, which is expected for an aquatic metaroom.

I love this room, but it runs a little hot for my TWBs. If I leave them with the default water cooling genes they're too cold to the point of fatality, but if I get rid of those genes, they then burn to death. I have not had this problem in any other aquatic room thus far. Therefore you might want to consider dialing back the heat emitters a little bit. Otherwise, excellent room!

I've given Artemia Sea another update. Details are at the link posted; if you just want to download it click the "website" link to get the update.

That's stopped it actually, thanks. I figured that it wasn't just my computer, I only bought it last year!

And the update is complete. There are no guarantees that it will be less laggy, but it might be worth trying all the same.

If it's not just your computer (I don't have any lag issues on my own computer), it's possibly because I left out a "slow" in the Sea Gooseberry's script.
Artemia makes heavy use of "inst...slow" due to how many schooling critters there are since using "inst" makes checking the surrounding agents go a lot faster. However, inst is also a fairly proccessing-heavy command, which can cause issues if there's no "slow" to turn it off. Since the gooseberries are fairly populous and I left out that "slow," it's possible that they're the ones being the most taxing on processing power.
Now that I've noticed it, I've added that "slow." It may or may not help the lag issues any, but there should be an updated version out shortly.

Maybe it's due to the fact that they're almost all moving agents?
