When activated the vendor will dispense a batch of slimy frog eggs. If they are in the water, they will hatch into tadpoles that will swim around. Eventually the tadpoles will mature into male and female frogs. The males will hunt and eat the immature tadpoles and the females will lay more eggs before they die.
