Magic Words Core C3DS Jessica | 4/6/2014 | 9 |
type | Tool | author | Amaikokonut | updated | 4/7/2014 | website | [view] | The concept of Magic Words is a very useful one created by Amaikokonut. It allows a player to do certain actions in-game by typing in specific commands. Once the core is injected, there are multiple other modules available that can achieve different sorts of actions. Simply type in "help" and a list of available commands will show up!
The download file includes an agent file and a .cos file. The agent must be injected into each new world, but if you find yourself always using it, the .cos file will install the core automatically in every now world.
Note: Amaikokonut created a Magic Words template for others to use in creating other modules to use. If you know CAOS, check it out! |

Ah, I did wonder if that was it. I suspect I thought at one point, "I always install these, I'll put the core in as a .cos file" then injected it as well.

That double or triple help window is caused by having two or more copies of the agent injected. You'd get the same double window if you injected the agent & then injected it again because you forgot you already injected. If you have the .cos file installed, don't install the agent into the new worlds, since it will cause that double window effect.

I remember having this issue too, when using the Kill Half agent, which was a third-party magic words module, and would create its own help window, so I think you're right about the cause of the issue.

If anyone is interested, Amaikokonut also created a Magic Words template so that anyone could create new modules. Just throwing that out there! I'll also add it to the main info up above momentarily.

I remember having that same issue, Nutter, and the genius I am forgot how I fixed it. I think you're right about using both the .cos file and the agent file: It would make sense that each would have a help file, and using both at the same time would create the problem. Actually, I think removing the .cos file was the exact way I fixed it... But if it does happen to anyone, this might be the cause of the problem!

I've noticed an occasional issue with the scripts and/or core, which may be down to the way I use them, rather than the scripts themselves. Sometimes strange things happen with the help files: call up the page and it looks like several windows are superimposed. I think this is down to installing the core with a .cos file and then also installing on the script, but uninstalling everything and re-installing seems to fix it.
