type | Genetics Only | author | Evolnemesis | updated | 3/11/2016 | These are a highly advanced breed of my own concoction... They have the very latest CFF genome (0.4), plus several additional changes to make them more interested in nature. They are also better at developing individual quirks and a bit better about finding alternative food sources. These are more independent than most Norns and like to explore.
Besides that, they have an improved sense of being full, so should not overeat too much, they have a small tweak to make them want to wait a while after mating, have some other more natural behaviors based on gizmos, and deal with homesickness better.
They should not starve while preoccupied with other drives, they can notice drowning and will react with fear to suffocation, 'yes' or 'no' by the Hand will affect their behavior as a tickle or slap, they should get into talking loops less and stare at each other less, they have a tendency to stick by parents when young and scatter from them when older, and more. |

I notice they're more easily frighted and take longer to drown than normal CFEs.
The below is mostly just first impressions and may not be entirely accurate:
They seem a bit friendlier than normal CFEs
They do seem to have a slightly alarming tenancy to continually pace when they don't immediately see what they want, to extent that I see more often in non-CFEs.
I don't think these are normally much different in CFFs either? It's been a while since I observed CFFs due to the lack of breeds using that base.

Wow, this looks fascinating... might get me away from Elite and back to playing Creatures.

Yeah for sure... I'd love to hear about anything you do with them, a wolfling run of a pure population of them would be interesting. They should ace IQ tests too.
If you crossbreed or splice them, I wouldn't mix them with any other CFF types... Some of the newer genes were moved around because I added a bunch of weak instincts to give them a little bit more varied behaviors. This little guy in the picture is showing off one of the new behaviors... he's playing with a flower.
Anything normal or CFE-related shouldn't have serious issues, though. The Evos do have an extra organ and an extra brain lobe, and slightly different biochemistry, but the offspring would either inherit all of this physical stuff together in a big group of genes at the end of the genome, or not at all, so there shouldn't be complications.

It'd be fun to see how they change in a wolfling run!
