Updated C1 Genetics V2 C1 kezune | 5/9/2013 | 3 |
type | Genetics Only | author | kezune, Tarlia | updated | 7/5/2013 | website | [view] | The updated genomes prevent creatures from achieving immortality by eating anti-oxidants and makes it possible for creatures to die of old age.
This version overwrites the mom and dad files in the genetics folder and allows you to hatch updated creatures from the hatchery. This also allows you to get fixed mixed breeds from the hatchery including the Ron and forest norns. You cannot get Santa norns from the hatchery.
This version also comes with a fixed Grendel genome and the updated Santa genome. Included are two Santa norns.
Version 1 is included if you don't want Ron or forest mixes from the hatchery.
If the CCaves.com link doesn't work, please use the website link on the right instead.
You're welcome to use these as a base so long as you include a note that you did. |

These genomes are all the same! If you look on the original websites it states that they all have the same genes, only breed difference are their looks;appearance (genes)… Thanks tho for the new anti immortality gene which replaced the anti oxidant one..

The file cannot be opened with the standard Windows zip opener, but I managed to open it with 7zip.

Downloaded, will have a play tomorrow.

Axe that last comment. I seem to have trouble uploading .RAR files. I'll create a .ZIP alternate link in a minute.

Huh, the file works for me. Weird.

Just so you know, this .zip file gives me an "Invalid file" error when I try to open it (though I can still open it with 7zip, with the files within being perfectly fine).

This is making me wish I still had a computer that could run creatures 1. 8^(

No worries! Just do whatever makes the game most enjoyable for you. ;D

Oh no! I already have one. I just wanted to be sure what would happen if I replaced it is all. Sorry. I'm still going to download it but leave out the Grendel gens.

No, your grendels wouldn't be able to breed with this genome. : C The only fix I've applied to the creatures is the ability to die of old age and not become immortal through anti-oxidants. I haven't modified breeding at all. I'm sure there's a genome out there that allows it, though!
