Edynn Build 8 Released

Yup, Chani's had a burst of activity and has released build 8 of Edynn, the new world for the DS engine. You can find it at the Edynn download page. For those of you don't know what Edynn is (shame on you!), it's not just a new metaroom, it's like a whole new game. It's based on the Docking Station engine but you install it seperately just like a completely different program. Edynn has kits like C1 and C2 and lots of other great features so make sure you check it out!

Amanora has updated her excellent site! She has added a lot of Nornart in the C2 and C3 galleries. Also, you can download the Color Spot norns: a new colorful sprite mix between Spotted, Bilba and Hippi Norn. Click here to check out her site!

Ask Laura (Image Credit: Rascii)I'm sure most of you remember the excellent Ask Trish advice column of Helen's Bibble Directory. It was a place where people would submit problems about themselves, their norns, etc. and Trish would respond to them! Well, I have been asked by Helen to start a new "agony aunt" type advice column here at Creatures Caves! And who better to handle the questions than our very own Laura? She had emailed Helen about working on Ask Trish so Helen forwarded me the email two days ago and I've worked my hardest to get it done since! So why not go submit some questions to the new Ask Laura advice column today?

For the edification of Creatures fans everywhere! Steve Grand's Creatures Archive pages contain an assortment of never-before-published, design-related documents that the father of Creatures wrote whilst developing the game. To quote Mr. Grand himself, "If you've ever wondered where Creatures came from, or why it has the strange mishmash of elements it does, then here are the reasons..."

Of particular interest in this gallery of documents was "Small Furry Creatures: A Mythography" which tells the tale of the climate, geography, and mythology behind Creatures, Steve's Programming Diary, Apearance, and I am Ron's Brain. All together, if you have the time, this Archive is a wonderfully informative body of work! Thank you Mr. Grand!

I'm sure you've noticed all of the Person Of the Week topics in the Strangeo forum, well that's what this page is about!
